This has been weighing heavy on my heart I have read accounts of the treatment received by the many migrants who have been deported without due process, labeled as gang members with the only evidence being tattoos. Seriously? I have tattoos. So does my husband. I guess that must mean we are also in a gang. These people who never had a chance to face their accusers in court or see a judge have been brutalized, heads shaved, and their belongings thrown in the trash with their hair Women have been forced into cramped quarters with no showers or even toilets. Forced to urinate on the floor. The treatment of these people is a human rights disaster. We are one step closer putting people in gas chambers. One day, when your grandchildren ask you what did you do to stop this? What will you tell them? What about when this eventually comes to trial? What will you say when you meet your maker? This administration has been one disaster after another. But the cruelty in which these deportations have been handled, will be the biggest stain on American history. Well, at least recent American history. How do you want to be remembered? Do you want to be just another person who sold your soul to keep your seat? Or do you want to look back and know you did the right thing? Please support the judges who are trying to hold the line. Call out Donald Trump for ignoring court orders Defend these judges with all you have. You soul and our democracy is on the line.
