The Trump administration is working to destroy the Department of Education and our public system. His regressive allies are complicit.   Every Democratic leader MUST fight hard against this.   I would like you to please be relentless in using the legal safeguards still available to us to our advantage to fight this.  We must uphold education standards in CA. Please join these lawsuits, and allocate additional state funding to ensure children in the children in this state have their needs met.   Our State Attorney general should also be filing lawsuits against the Federal government to slow down this degradation and demand accountability.  Please go on whatever media tour is possible and bombard the airwaves with accurate information on how gutting the Department of Education will harm our children, our teachers, and our public schools. Why can Trump so effectively use a 13-year-old child to push his propaganda narrative but we cannot elevate actual stories of children suffering under Trump's policies?  Additionally, please get off X. And request that everyone in your office do so as well.
