I am writing to express my deep concern that corporate interests are consistently prioritized over the well-being of the people and the planet. Time and again, we see policies shaped by corporate lobbying, subsidies flowing to industries that harm our environment, and regulations being weakened at the expense of public health, workers’ rights, and climate stability.
As a constituent, I urge you to take bold action to shift the focus back to the needs of the people you were elected to represent. This includes:
- Ensuring corporate accountability by closing tax loopholes, limiting dark money in politics, and strengthening consumer and environmental protections.
- Investing in sustainable industries that create jobs while preserving our natural resources, rather than subsidizing polluting corporations.
- Protecting workers and communities by advocating for fair wages, safe working conditions, and policies that support small businesses rather than prioritizing large corporate entities.
The well-being of our communities and future generations should not be sacrificed for short-term corporate profits. I urge you to stand up against corporate overreach and champion policies that prioritize people and the planet.
I would appreciate a response outlining your stance on these issues and the steps you are taking to ensure corporate accountability and environmental responsibility. Thank you for your time and service to our community.
