I’m currently a senior on chemotherapy for relapsed cancer. One of my chemo pills costs $18,000/month. I pay $990 out of pocket for a 21 day supply that I could be on indefinitely. What is saving me financially is the $2,000 Medication cap. I understand that HHS Secretary Kennedy wants to do away with the cap, I presume to save money. There are a lot of people on this drug (Remlivid) who without it would likely die. How many people can afford $990 every 21 days? It’s unconscionable that cost cutting supersedes people’s lives! DO NOT ALLOW THE MEDICATION CAP TO BE REMOVED Or EXTENDED!
