I am writing to express my deep disappointment in your continued failure to represent the best interests of your constituents. Your vote against the PACT Act, which provides critical support for veterans suffering from toxic exposure, was a disgrace. It was a betrayal of those who have sacrificed everything for this country, and it proves that you are more interested in political games than real leadership. Unfortunately, this is just one of many reasons why I will not be voting for you. Your absence from a recent town hall, where voters gathered to voice their concerns, shows your blatant disregard for the people you claim to represent. Your stance against women’s rights, your relentless attacks on gender ideology, and your continued alignment with Donald Trump’s reckless agenda make it clear that you are not fit to serve. The list of reasons I cannot support you is too long to fully detail in one letter. Unless you miraculously make a drastic change—which, quite frankly, I doubt you are capable of—I will never cast my vote for you again. Your constituents deserve a leader who listens, fights for them, and puts their needs above partisan posturing. I urge you to take a hard look at your record and ask yourself who you are really serving. Because right now, it is not the people of Illinois.
