Due to Mr. Trump's Russian roulette with tariffs, in today's business section of the Star Tribune, Ontario's premiere is slapping a 25% tax increase on all electricity imports to the US. Approximately 1.5 million Americans, including many Minnesotans, will be impacted by this tariff. For many Minnesotans, higher electricity costs are a bigger burden. Trump has caused unnecessary chaos and uncertainty in his 50 days in office, and his reckless leadership is ruining this country's economy. As representative of the people of Minnesota, who you claim to have an interest in helping, you have an obligation to step up and use your influence with your fellow MN representatives and the Republican Party to reign in this needless use of tariffs. There will be hardship for ordinary Americans including job losses and increased inflation. You are allowing him to ruin this country.
