I know Senate Republicans are about to introduce their new budget resolution, and that they are going to great lengths to hide the fact that it will cut Medicaid and SNAP and blow up the deficit to give tax cuts to rich people. I want the Senator to know that I see exactly what they’re doing and I am outraged. Republicans want to take food away from children and deny health care to those who need it most so that billionaires can get even richer—it’s disgusting. I expect the Senator to stand up for their constituents, not Trump’s billionaire friends, and vote no on this budget. Also, I love what Senator Booker is doing, and I want every Democratic Senator to do something similar. THIS is the kind of energy and determination we want to see, and we are so grateful to him for it. Republicans are tearing our country apart and shredding our Constitution. We need more bold moves like Booker’s from the Democrats. Speaking of which, the Senator needs to call for Chuck Schumer to step aside. His weak leadership is killing us. We need fire. He doesn’t have it.
