Hello, I am troubled by the recent “deportation” efforts by the current Administration. Especially as it applies to the individuals in question who weren’t *technically* “deported” to their country of origin - they were sold as slave labor and trafficked to a 3rd country to work in a maximum security prison. There was no due process, they were grabbed, packaged up, and sold, on the suspicions, allegations, or whims of border patrol/ice.
Now that the administration is actively defying court orders, and laughing about it, while these people - many of whom may be innocent of the crimes of association they are accused of are being subjected to all sorts of horrors.
This is not the America I signed up to defend. We have lost our way. The crimes against humanity committed by this administration taint all of us. And if we do nothing, we are tacitly approving what they do.
I implore my representatives in Congress to bring light to these issues, demand accountability from the officers, agents, and administration representatives involved.
Thank you.
