Why in the world would a post about a man who defended our country in Vietnam have his picture and story taken down on the Department of Defense website? Was it because he was black? You cannot ignore the history of the 70s for this man, Maj Gen Charles C Rogers! I lived in this time and know the sacrifice these soldiers made, and I remember the racism. So it is historical that a man that was black could actually be given a well deserved recognition, the Medal of Honor! I want you to investigate this horrible attempt to erase our history!
