With over 22,600 civil rights complaints filed last year, predominantly concerning disability discrimination, these cuts reduce essential protections to nothing more than empty words. This is not merely a bureaucratic adjustment; it is a decision that risks real children losing critical opportunities for an equitable education. I urge you to oppose these cuts and support strong federal enforcement of civil rights in education to ensure every student receives the services and protection they deserve.
