Hi, I am an elementary school educator, parent, and concerned citizen. I am deeply concerned about recent cuts to the US Department of Education and how these cuts may affect funding for Oregon public schools. I teach in a small school with a large number of economically disadvantaged students (we are designated a Title I school), and we need every penny to make sure our students get a quality education. I am writing to urge you to do everything possible to make sure Oregon's public schools are adequately funded, so that we can educate and support our students. Thank you.
