Vote NO on save act.

To: Sen. Budd, Rep. Foushee, Sen. Tillis

From: A constituent in Durham, NC

March 30

The SAVE Act poses a grave threat to voting rights and democratic principles. This harmful legislation would mandate overly restrictive voter ID requirements, enabling widespread disenfranchisement of millions of eligible voters across the country. Strict photo ID laws have been shown to disproportionately suppress turnout among racial minorities, low-income individuals, the elderly, and those with disabilities. Implementing such unnecessary barriers to the ballot box is an assault on the fundamental right to vote that all citizens should be able to exercise freely. We must uphold fair and equal access to the democratic process for all Americans. I urge you to stand against this dangerous act that undermines the integrity of our elections. Protect the sacred right to vote by rejecting measures that create unjustified hurdles and uphold our nation's principles of inclusion and representation.
