What are we even doing? What is the point of allowing someone like Schumer to maintain a Senate seat if Democratic leadership is going to roll over every time the Republicans threaten a shut down? I sincerely hope Schumer understands just how much he has screwed up. Be prepared for a primary next election cycle. Useless, feckless, pointless supposed 'leadership'. Just pathetic.
