Protect and continue funding for PBS and NPR!  -Remember Mr. Rogers, Sesame Street, and NOVA. Mr. Rogers was absolutely right - public broadcasting is a fantastic way to educate kids and adults alike. Programs like Inside Appalachia have not only taught us about our region but also helped us showcase it to the world. Think back to your own childhood with shows like Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, Sesame Street, American Experience, and NOVA. They were all valuable and positive influences on our lives and continue to be important to us. Let’s do the right thing and protect our national treasures for our children, and their children. They’ll thank us for it!
