PLEASE hold the line in the Senate as Democrats were unable to do in the House. I don’t think a government shutdown is necessarily good although Trump didn’t care in his 1st term when he made the Republicans do it for his ridiculous wall funding. However, I implore you to let Congressional Republicans and the POTUS own this grotesquely unfair and damaging budget that they’re so intent on passing. If it fails in the Senate, that means it’s not good enough to pass. Please listen to your constituents and DO NOT VOTE IN FAVOR of this abomination! It hurts Medicaid recipients and helps billionaires. This is a Republican shutdown—don’t let them bully you! And please shut down the illegal DOGE! Congress never authorized that “agency” or any spending for it!
