I strongly urge you to oppose H.R. 978, which would roll back protections for Minnesota's Boundary Waters and open the doors to a copper mine in its watershed. The Boundary Waters is one of America's most treasured and visited wilderness areas. Copper mining could expose the wilderness to toxic wastes. Please oppose this bill and protect the Boundary Waters.
