I’m writing from Marquette to urge you to vote YES on the resolution blocking the administration’s attempt to impose a 25% tariff on Canadian imports. This kind of tariff would be devastating for Michigan. Canada is one of our biggest trading partners, and tariffs like this would drive up costs for consumers, hurt Michigan farmers and manufacturers, and invite retaliation that damages local jobs. Our state simply can’t afford it. I was glad to see bipartisan support building for this resolution.
