It will disrupt and harm millions of children and families, most profoundly in underserved communities. Without federal support, states and local governments, many of which already face financial difficulties, will face a staggering burden. Communities will grapple with the erosion achievement standards which will only increase earning disparities and inequity. The future of our country demands a skilled and educated workforce. We demand a future for all our children full of promise. The success of our nation depends on decisions that you make. Thank you for your attention to this critical issue.
