_You know full well that Howard Lutnick's claims about who is or isn't defrauding Social Security are completely detached from any research or data on the subject. Wealth-hoarders can easily afford multiple homes, yachts, islands and diamonds while also paying their fair share in taxes and fortifying Social Security which will keep thousands of Americans from dying cold in the streets every year. Musk, Trump, Lutnick, etc are trying to destroy government SERVICES. Services aren't supposed to generate a profit. There are proper channels for rooting out waste, fraud and abuse. They're being wreckless and cruel. You Congressional Republicans are abdicating your role as a separate, co-equal branch of government capable of checking this lunacy. You swore to protect and defend the Constitution. This is a true crisis that requires your fortitude and courage. I'm begging you to please think of the untold numbers of people who are suffering and will suffer if you all get your way with these unnecessary and unwise cuts to federal funding. Please stand up for my Boomer parents, my disabled best friend and people I don't know, and do something to make it stop._
