This is gross government overreach and it's cruel. Transgender people have the right to bodily autonomy and to make their own decisions. This legislation promotes suicidal ideation, and may even lead to genocide against the transgender community by denying access to gender-affirming healthcare. I urge you to reject this unethical and harmful proposal that disregards the rights and well-being of a vulnerable population. Protecting transgender lives should be the priority.
