I bet you to protect the Smithsonian Institute from Trump’s executive order, “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History.” This order contains efforts to literally rewrite history. To remove all criticism of the U. S. As James Baldwin wrote, if we truly love America, we must criticize her perpetually—so she can be the best she can be. Erasing the wrongs that America has done is just as dangerous as erasing her rights. And erasing history to ease the whims of a transient president is wildly irresponsible, fascist, and dangerous. Oppose such efforts with legislation, with speaking out, with censure. Thank you.
