DOGE Violation of Privacy Act of 1974

To: Rep. Carson, Sen. Young, Sen. Banks

From: A constituent in Indianapolis, IN

March 17

I’m a homeowner in Indianapolis, IN, asking you to protect the private and sensitive data of all Americans from inadequately vetted, non-elected members of the so-called “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE). DOGE’s sweeping access to government databases violates the Privacy Act of 1974 and should be halted immediately by congressional action. Can you please tell me what you plan to do to terminate this abuse of power?
