I'm writing to express my strong opposition to the school voucher scam, SB 2, and ask you to vote against it.

Local schools in Lamar Cisd stand to lose as much as $18,250,284 under SB 2, which would be a devastating loss for our community.

Public funds should stay in our public schools, not be divvied up to unaccountable private schools to the benefit of only select Texans. We should focus on strengthening our public schools for the betterment of all, and not leaving thousands in the dust.
