The draconian Save Act
To: Rep. Van Drew
From: A constituent in Bridgeton, NJ
April 2
I am writing to express my deep concern and outrage regarding the audacity of the so-called Save Act. This legislation is a blatant attack on the fundamental right to vote and an affront to the democratic principles upon which this nation was built. If you support this bill, you are not serving the American people—you are betraying them.
The right to vote is sacred and must be protected for every eligible citizen. The Save Act is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to disenfranchise voters, particularly women, by imposing unnecessary barriers that serve no legitimate purpose other than to suppress turnout. This is not about election integrity; it is about manipulating the system to the detriment of the very people you were elected to represent.
I urge you to stand on the right side of history and reject this assault on our democracy. Your duty is to uphold the rights of all Americans, not to support legislation that undermines their voice at the ballot box. We will remember where you stand when it comes time to cast our votes.
Do what is right. Oppose the Save Act. Defend democracy. Protect our right to vote.
