What Pete Hegseth did, along with the other people in the Signal chat, put the lives of our US service people at risk. While Mike Walz is clearly in the wrong and should be fired, his is not the worst crime here. Hegseth shared details that put the military people's lives in danger. This is unconscionable. Every person on the Signal chat must be fired. One of the men on the chat was in Moscow for meetings with Putin. SHAME. These are criminal offenses. Pete Hegseth, 9 years ago broadcasting on Fox News about Hillary Clinton's emails said: "Any security professional, military, government, or otherwise, would be fired on the spot for this type of conduct and criminally prosecuted for being so reckless with this kind of information." What was on Hillary Clinton's emails was not nearly as dangerous as the info on the Signal chat this week. Furthermore, I consider Jeffrey Goldberg, Editor of the Atlantic, a patriot and an excellent journalist. The Atlantic is a fabulous publication with excellent writers who have integrity. You have, however, demonstrated none. You have shown only cowardice and a complete lack of caring for your constituents. SHAME. In less than three days the German news journal, Der Spiegal, found passwords, cell phone numbers, and personal email addresses for the members of this signal chat! Only three days! Why does Pete Hegseth have a Russian email address? Why were Walz's and others (like Tulsi Gabbard) venmo lists open for anyone to find? Besides this showing complete incompetence and irresponsibility, it is stupid beyond credibility. The reckless arrogance is unbelievable. Tulsa Gabbard lied in the hearing before Congress. This is a worse scandal than Watergate ever was. Our allies now no longer trust us. You should be calling for the resignation of everyone who was on this signal chat. This includes Marco Rubio, Stephen Miller, the head of the CIA, and the director who was in Moscow. Why are you not doing so? Your silence makes you just as responsible for their crimes as they are.
