I am furious that a Turkish PhD student was arrested simply for having her name on an editorial. Has free speech left with this administration? This is unconstitutional! And if someone who is in the country legally can be arrested for something that is not a crime, why would any citizen of this country not be arrested for the same thing? It seems that it has become an offense to be arrested for to speak out in opposition or disagreement with the President. That only happens in dictatorships! Are we going to let that happen here? Please let me know that you are speaking out in opposition to the disappearing of people who speak or act against the president or government in a non-criminal way.
