Stop confusing Texans with multiple school voucher schemes. Public money should support public schools, not unregulated private programs. Voucher and ESA plans take critical funding away from the vast majority of Texas students who rely on public education (Texas Tribune, March 2025). The only real solution to improving schools is increasing funding for all Texans. Our public schools need resources for teachers, infrastructure, and student support, not funding cuts disguised as “choice” (Houston Chronicle, March 2025). I urge you to reject any voucher or ESA program and instead invest in the public schools that serve every Texas child.
