Publicly affirm your commitment to upholding constitutional term limits. 2. Reject any state-level efforts to support or enable a third term for any president. 3. Take a stand for democracy and the rule of law by ensuring our state does not play a role in eroding these protections. Our democratic system depends on leaders at all levels standing against unconstitutional overreach. I expect you to make it clear that any attempt to undermine presidential term limits is unacceptable.
