I suggest the Dem Party agree to a Public speech to the Media, the Press, and the Public, outside the Congress. Perhaps in front of Lincoln Memorial or such. I want you to lay out, item by item, all infractions and dangers that Trump has done that warrant impeachment and conviction. From many gross emoluments, illegal acts, destructive and dangerous domestic and foreign policy acts, all the many many almost daily irrational and ignorant and subversive statements, the many acts to subvert the power and acts of Congress and the Courts and establish an oligarchical fascist rule.
Of course, strengthen your appeal by telling how if this were a Democratic President, how the Republican Party, now totally submissive to Trump, would be outraged and moving for impeachment and conviction weeks ago.
I nominate Sen Raskin, with his wit, sharpness, knowledge, and intelligence, to give this speech. Of course he should be surrounded with support of many Senators and House Members.
