This administration speaks a lot more truth than people hear. They say these tariffs are a tax cut. That's true, because their taxes, and the taxes of all the people they see as real Americans, will go down. All of us who will be paying so much more, we're not even human to them, let alone Americans, so the revenue we bring in might as well be compared to the price of livestock. If the profits on beef go up, you don't say the cow is paying more. This is the government harvesting us. It doesn't matter if people die, it's just the cost of doing business. They can acquire our assets after death and get a bump in the quarter's revenue, as well as they can take our value in employment and taxes. There's no point in spending on LIHEAP or Social Security or Medicare, because livestock's value isn't in whether it had a decent, dignified existence. Our kids don't need education; livestock that can read is not more valuable. Adults who were traumatized kids who can't read make up the core of our slave labor force. The more, and sooner kids grow into that role, the better for capitalism. All the money saved by not investing in the herd can be spent as it should be: awarding contracts to billionaires for whatever subsidies, goods and services they tell the government America needs. They say the whole quiet part out loud.
