I'm writing today to express my support for Tony Ever's budget proposal and especially the $480 million toward child care investment in teacher wages. My family has recently aged out of our daycare, but I remember the struggle of those years and paying for care. Daycare leaves you in a weird catch-22--wanting the best quality teachers to care for your children, but also struggling to pay for it. When we had two kids in daycare, our payments were more than our mortgage payment. Please use your votes to support the things that actually support families--investments that help our kids!
