I'm writing to express my anger and horror at what's happening within the Trump administration. As my elected members of Congress, I'm begging you to use the authority given to you within the Constitution to do the right thing for our state and country. Please fight back on: - Purging valuable information from the DoD and Pentagon pages related to women and POC who gave in service to our country - Closing the Department of Education - Misrepresentation of policy disagreement as fraud and waste - Misrepresentation of regular Americans and legal residents as enemies when the threats are in the Executive - Undermining of judges, judicial review, and the basic rule of law There are real, live fascists in the White House and executive branch, and I'm horrified and scared and so pissed off that Congress is letting it happen. Please don't tell me again that the actions of the administration are well within their rights, because they're not. These actions are against the law. Please don't tell me again that eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse is a good thing like I'm an idiot. Obviously, that's true, but we can see what's actually being done, and we are being lied to. Congress, but you don't step in. The Trump administration has redefined fraud, waste, and abuse as "things we disagree with." In many cases, money has been allocated for these things by The documented history and archives are being whitewashed. Our country and population is being whitewashed. The rule of law no longer matters. What do we actually stand for? Please do something! Have courage! How can you not be as upset as your voters? Please represent us!
