The Trump administration's decision to remove the nonbinary gender option from the FAFSA form is discriminatory and harmful to LGBTQ+ students. Nonbinary students deserve to be recognized and supported, not erased from essential processes like the FAFSA. We call on you to denounce this discriminatory decision and work to reinstate the nonbinary option on the FAFSA form. Defending the rights of LGBTQ+ citizens, especially vulnerable youth, should be a priority. Take a stand against this unjust policy that targets a marginalized group.
