Does ICE have no federal guidelines to abide? Abduction is allowed? No rights for those arrested? Courts can be ignored? As a nonprofit director, I have binders full of regulations I must abide to house and feed those experiencing homelessness. Not so for ICE? I am outraged and terrified by the kidnapping of Rumeysa Ozturk. She wrote an editorial. She is not a terrorist. She is studying child trauma and bettering her communities. I call upon you to ask questions and get her release. Why are our reps not gathering at these detention centers and asking questions? America is dying on YOUR watch.
