Please vote against all the bad preemption/growth management bills There are several bills making their way through the legislature that would be terrible for our natural areas, agriculture, and water supply and quality and I ask that you vote against all of them. SB 1118 and HB 1209 would allow so much sprawl and destroy urban boundaries. And this is only one of the preemption bills that y’all keep messing up local planning with. Communities should be able to make decisions that are best for themselves. Some don’t want houses built where there isn’t infrastructure or where tourism and ag now provide the economic support. Y’all don’t know the communities and shouldn’t make decisions for them.
