I write today about the travesty of the arrest Mahmoud Khalil. The Trump Administration acknowledges that he didn't commit a crime. They are deporting him for his speech, only, in clear violation of his first amendment rights. They are holding him away from his lawyer, in violation of his sixth amendment rights. And they are violating his Constitutional right to habeus corpus, outlined in Article One of the Constitution. Article One is the article that empowers the Congress of the United States. Did Congress pass a bill acknowledging invasion or rebellion? Is it your intention to give away all the powers of Congress? Free Mahmoud Khalil. Release him to the custody of his lawyers, and bring him to court on actual charged, not trumped up non-charges of "We want to get rid of those who oppose us."
