I am strongly opposed to the executive order that states that IMLS must be reduced to its “statutory functions.” This is an attack on core cultural and social institutions that must not be allowed to stand. Congress has a responsibility to stand up to Elon Musk, an unelected official, and stand up for their representatives. You and your peers have continually allowed Musk to steam roll you and make you obsolete It is time for you and your elected peers to stand up and do your job so that America is not made into a joke.
