Economists all agree: tariffs are self-destructive, and trade deficits are a sign of a strong economy. Trump's incompetence is going to propel us through a recession all the way into a depression, and his arrogance will mean he never admits the mistake. Withdraw tariff powers from the office of President. Cancel the new tariffs – and while you're at it, maybe reduce them below what they were before!
