Representative,   I am writing to express my deep concern about recent reports stating that Elon Musk, a private civilian with no military training, has been granted access to top-level war strategy clearance. This situation raises alarming questions about national security norms, oversight, accountability, and the integrity of our military decision-making process.   Mr. Musk is an unelected and unvetted businessman whose primary interests lie in private enterprise, not national defense. While his contributions to space and technology through SpaceX and Starlink are noteworthy, they do not qualify him to engage in high-level discussions about war strategy. It is deeply troubling that such access has allegedly been extended to him without the rigorous vetting required for government and military officials.   The implications of this decision are far-reaching. Granting a civilian—especially one with significant private interests and global business entanglements—access to sensitive war strategies could compromise national security. Furthermore, it sets a dangerous precedent, allowing private individuals with economic power to influence military operations without democratic accountability.   I urge you to investigate how and why Mr. Musk has been granted this level of clearance. Additionally, I call for legislative action to ensure that such decisions follow proper oversight and adhere to national security protocols.
