As a constituent and an advocate with the American Library Association, I'm writing to ask you to protect funding for the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Federal funding helps libraries deliver essential services that make positive impacts in our community. As you know, Kentucky continues to have economic and education challenges and funding for libraries is one way we approach conquering those issues. Cutting funding for libraries will be devastating to each and every Kentucky community. Please, please stand up for us. We elected you to do our will. It’s not the will of Kentuckians that libraries go away.
