An Open Letter

I would like to express my concerns over actions taken by the current administration. As I listen to the national news, I become anxious and distressed about the far-reaching power of DOGE. Recently there have been reports of an armed take-over of the United States Institute of Peace ; A shut-down of the broadcasts of the Voice of America; Severe cuts in the Department of Social Security: and plans to eliminate the Department of Education. Each of these entities were established & funded by congressional orders. As a member of congress, you play a major role in our Federal System of checks & balances. I plead with you to use your influence & power to put a check on actions by Elan Musk and President Trump to remove congress from its proper place & funtion in our democracy. Stand up for the people of Kentucky, your constituents, who will be stripped of their voice if you do not do what is necessary to protect their rights. I appreciate your taking time to hear and respond to my concerns.
