I am writing to urge you to take a firm stand in protecting Social Security from those who seek to dismantle it, including billionaires like Elon Musk and the Trump administration’s allies. Social Security is not a handout—it is a promise made to the American people, funded by the hard-earned money of workers over a lifetime. Any attempt to privatize, defund, or weaken it is an attack on millions of seniors, disabled individuals, and hardworking Americans who rely on these benefits for survival. Elon Musk and other corporate elites have made it clear they do not support Social Security, and their influence on policy threatens its future. The Constitution demands that our government work for the people, not just the wealthy few. I urge you to stand up for Social Security, push back against privatization efforts, and ensure that this essential program remains strong for generations to come. I expect you, as my elected representative, to fight for the American people and not cave to special interests. Please publicly oppose any efforts to undermine Social Security and commit to strengthening it instead. I, along with many of your constituents, will be watching your actions on this critical issue.
