I am writing to implore you not to support SB1. This piece of legislation guts public schools, and puts our most vulnerable students at the most risk. There is plenty of reason to believe that many children, without active supports, will fail in school. School performance affects their future career prospects, the quality of life of THEIR children, and even the justice system. Every child deserves the best education we cam provide. As a mother of a child in a Cincinnati Public Title 1 school, I know our kids and teachers need our support more than ever. Please don't allow charter schools to undermine our treasured public education. Thank you.
