I strongly oppose the absurd and reckless HR 1161, the "Red, White, and Blueland Act of 2025," introduced by Rep. Buddy Carter. This bill proposes to authorize the President to negotiate the purchase of Greenland from Denmark and to rename it to "Red, White, and Blueland." This nonsensical waste of time and resources is a blatant disregard for real issues facing our nation. Instead of tackling pressing domestic and international challenges, such a proposal wastes taxpayer money and undermines meaningful diplomacy. We demand an immediate halt to HR 1161 and any similar bills. The U.S. deserves leadership that prioritizes progress, not misguided and irrelevant distractions. Stop this foolishness now!
