Published reports indicate the legislature is set on turning corporations lose in Texas so they can ride roughshod over weary stockholders. The new law would give businesses the ability put off stockholders and adds severe restrictions on access to courts. This is very undemocratic as holding corporations to account in court is among the bedrocks of Texas law. Please oppose these opportunistic changes in favor of the current process.
