As a physician, veteran and Christian, it’s hard to understand how you’re standing idly by while Musk and Trump dismantle our healthcare system, hobble veteran services (while laying off thousands of veterans), and cut programs to the most vulnerable Americans. Further, your silence is deafening over the unsecured communications by our top defense team that put our troops in harm’s way. What level of cognitive dissonance are you experiencing that tells you any of this is normal and benefits your constituents? In two months we are weaker militarily because we are ceding soft power and alienating our allies to the extent they are making plans to protect themselves from us, our economy is on the brink due to damaging tariffs and other self-inflicted errors by the Trump administration, people who are in the country legally are being excessively aggressively kidnapped off the streets for voicing opinions contrary to Trump and sent to facilities across the country, and people here illegally are being sent to notoriously abusive foreign prisons without any due process, where we’re supposed to take the Trump administration’s dubious word they are gang members. Our standing in the world is diminishing by the day. Time for you to do your job. Time to take a stand for something, anything that benefits your constituents.
