I urge you to reconsider providing Elon Musk with access to the nation's most sensitive military plans regarding a potential war with China. Granting a private citizen, who has significant business interests in China, access to top-secret operational details presents an unacceptable risk to national security. Musk's role as an adviser to President Trump was never approved by Congress. While Mr. Musk's role as an adviser is understood, there must be limits on the classified information he receives, especially plans detailing how the U.S. would conduct warfare against a nation where he has substantial financial ties. Protecting the confidentiality of war plans is critical to safeguarding American military capabilities and strategic advantages. I urge you to restrict Mr. Musk's access only to information directly relevant to his advisory role and expertise to mitigate conflicts of interest and preserve operational security.
