I'm a concerned constituent of yours in Auburn, AL. We're fifty days into the Trump presidency, and what exactly has been “accomplished”? Lies, corruption, and an outright assault on democracy. I am disgusted by what has transpired so far—by the chaos, the dishonesty, and the blatant disregard for the American people.
For a party that used to pride itself on family values, there sure seems to be a lot of lying, hate, and shameless power-grabbing. Where is the integrity? Where is the accountability? Every day brings new scandals, new abuses of power, and new attempts to manipulate the truth. Rather than serving the hardworking people of Alabama, this administration is serving billionaires, extremists, and its own selfish interests.
The level of corruption is staggering. Government agencies are being hollowed out, experts are being purged, and policies are being dictated by personal vendettas rather than the needs of the American people. Meanwhile, the economy teeters on the edge of recession, social safety nets are being slashed, and basic rights are under attack. Is this what you consider good governance? Because from where I stand, it’s an absolute disgrace.
I want to know where you stand. Will you continue enabling this administration’s lies and corruption, or will you finally put country over party? The people of Alabama deserve better than this.
