The United States must stand firmly in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity against Russia's illegal and unjustified invasion. Withdrawing military aid, intelligence sharing, and security commitments to Ukraine undermines our values and national interests while emboldening Putin's aggression. It is unacceptable for the administration to hold private talks with Russia that exclude Ukraine itself, or to entertain ceding Ukrainian territory as part of any potential "peace deal." Such actions betray our democratic ally and reward Putin's malign behavior. Continued robust military and intelligence support for Ukraine is vital to upholding the rules-based international order and deterring further Russian escalation that threatens European stability. I urge you to use all legislative tools at your disposal to maintain steadfast U.S. backing for Ukraine, including by mandating the resumption of suspended aid and intelligence cooperation. Abandoning Ukraine is not an option.
