Please know that the administration is using tactics like “reviewing assistance listings” to continue withholding federal financial assistance. For example, 15.931 is the youth engagement listing - by “reviewing” it - they can justify denying any money going to national youth orgs who provide critical services and receive immense experience at national parks. Without them, very little can happen during the national park service’s most high trafficked seasons. Investigate! Insist on learning where the hold-ups are with this financial aid before national heritage areas are abandoned and the nonprofits whom NPS works so much with close their doors.
